New Track and 'Classic' French House

Hey everybody, I figured since I was holed-up this weekend trying to survive the arctic weather, I might as well work on some music projects. So after some sample searching and a few hours tinkering around I came up with this track:

Also, I've noticed that a lot of the French House blog-o-rama has been leaning toward a sound that borrows a lot from R&B as much as from traditional house sounds. So looking back a some compilations from about a decade ago (10 years already!!!), I pulled some tracks that I think still resonate today. First up, from the "Respect Is Burning Vol. 2" comp is a Les Rythmes Digitales remix of a Deejay Punk Roc track:
